How to apply, step by step

  1. 1
    Enrol full-time

The course has to run at least 15 hours a week — part-time study does not qualify for Stamp 2.

  2. 2
    Meet the English bar

IELTS 6.5 is the standard across the seven public universities and RCSI.

  3. 3
    Show funds and insurance

€7,000–€10,000 in funds plus medical cover of €25,000.

  4. 4
    Lock accommodation before you fly

Dublin rent runs €1,357–€1,637 a month and supply is tight.

  5. 5
    Know the appeal window

A refusal can be appealed within two months, which is why documentation quality matters more here than speed. Acceptance already runs at 96%.
