English-taught masters include economics, international health, computational linguistics, biomedical engineering, molecular biosciences and physics.
University housing is scarce — only about 13% of new students get an affordable room across the 65 halls. Shared rent in Heidelberg runs €250–€350; Mosbach is cheapest at €180–€282.
Heidelberg does not award its own scholarships; funding comes from Deutschland Stipendium (€330/month), the German Chancellor Fellowship or KAAD.
Doctoral applicants must secure a supervisor before applying.
Graduate salaries: Masters in Finance €95,000, Masters in Science €94,000, doctorate €71,000.
